Nostradameus at myspace & sorry for the mess [25.08.08] Once again we want to apologize for the status of our homepage this is something that we will take care of before the release of our next album. The recording sessions will start september 15th at Roasting House in Malmö (Sweden) same place as Hellbound & Pathway. Nostradameus to play at ProgPower Scandinavia [08.02.08] Nostradameus from Sweden will be the band to kick off the entire festival Friday October 31st. A fantastic live band that unites full-speed-ahead power metal, classic metal anthems, tons of energy and a good deal of technicality. The bands made one of the best power metal discs in 2007 with the awesome "Pathways", and went straight on a European tour with Jon Oliva's Pain to great success all around. With the next album due sometime in 2008, this is the perfect band to get our festival started out. ProgPowerScandinavia.

.:: Five songs recorded as pre-production As it is now we have done some of the songs for our next album as a pre-production, five songs has been mixed to a mini cd that will be sent to some labels as our contract with AFM was fullfilled after Pathway. For the moment we have nine songs for our sixth album and we are working with some more songs before we will enter the studio to do the real recordings. I can tell you that fans of Nostradameus has something really heavy to look forward to.

Nostradameus has
started the song writing sessions for their 6th album, the aim is to record &
release the album in 2008 as it is the 10 years anniversary of the band.

break-down
Back in Sweden once again after an amazing trip to Romania,
we just want to say a sincere "Thank you!" to all you crazy fuckers we met
during this adventure! We managed to play 6 out of the 7 planned gigs and we had
the
greatest time on those stages. Concerning the cancelled gig in Iasi, we really
want to apologize for not being able to play it! The reason was a car break-down
in the middle of the night, on the road between Craiova and Pitesti. A couple of
us guys stayed up all night and all the following day trying to fix the car and
make it to Iasi on time, but when it was 20:00 hours and we only had been able
to go to Buzau, we had to face the fact; The first cancelled gig in the band's
history. We did what we could, didn't sleep for 40 hours, but just wasn't able
to make it. So, once again, we apologise! We'll try to get back to Iasi in the
future and make it up to you guys and girls waiting for us that evening!

know there is lots of people who visit our forum but don´t register as members,

Romanian tour extended
As you might have noticed already, we'll take off for a tour in Romania in May.
Due to the posibility to play some extra festival gigs there, we've decided to
move the already scheduled 4 dates about two weeks in order to play those shows.
The tour has also been extended with another 2 gigs, so it will, all in all, be
8 posibilities in 9 days to se Nostra live in mid-May in Romania. See the
live-dates section for furter details and stay metal until we meet somewhere out

Upcoming tour, with session drummer! When we hit the
roads in April together with Jon Oliva´s Pain & Dionysus, Esko has decided to
stay at home.The former Nostradameus drummer Jesse Lindskog will be handling
the
drums on the coming European tour and he is very exited about it. Esko is
expecting a baby in march and won’t be able to join the band at the upcoming
tour. Those of you who remember Jesse knows that he recorded the bands second
album “The Prophet Of Evil” and left shortly after. So welcome to the tour
Jesse!

[29.01.07] We're sorry that the homepage have been offline for quite some time. This
was caused by a server change that took a little longer than expected. As you
might have noticed the site isn't working quite properly yet, but I'll try to
finish it a.s.a.p.
The ambition with
the new page is trying to make it more fan-orientated which the earlier versions
might have lacked. From what I've heard you are in for some real treats. I'll
